When shopping or looking for products on Neeva you can sometimes see a "Top Reviewed Products" section in results. This section is meant to help you do research faster by collecting all the reviews for the product from the most popular websites. Because Neeva doesn't have advertisers we make sure to show you the most recommended products first and not those that others pay for you to see.
How does Neeva decide what to show?
Neeva understands the reviews and recommendations from hundreds of the most popular review sites. We use that understanding to show the most well-reviewed ones first. For example, if Wirecutter, CNET, and Good Housekeeping all say the same product is best, we'll show it first.
Does Neeva get paid to show these products?
Not at all! We're just trying to help you do your research faster when shopping. We hope this helps.
Does Neeva get paid for clicks on these products?
Nope! We have no special deal to receive money for the links and retail websites we show. There are times where some of the retail links may pay an affiliate fee to one of the review sites we used. However, this isn't by design and is due to technical specifics for how we collect these links from across the web. Even in these rare cases none of the fees ever come to us.
Can I trust these review sites? Don't they get paid?
Unfortunately, many popular review sites do get paid via an affiliate fee for clicks on the products they recommend. That said, don't give them too much grief. It takes someone's time, money, and effort to do this work. To support this content, they need to make money somehow. The bigger problem is that they have no other way to make money on the web than via advertising or promotions.
At Neeva, we have a new vision that helps publishers like these focus on building great content and value for you, our members. We have a partners program that will share a portion of Neeva's revenue from subscribers so they can focus more time on content and less on promotions.
